About AICRPs/NRCs

To coordinate the multilocation research activity at different research stations, an All India Coordinated Research Project on Sugarcane has been in operation since 1970 with its Coordination Unit located at the Institute, headed by the Project Coordinator. The project organizes biennial workshops and group meetings for discussion on research result and further work in Agronomy & Soil Science, Crop Improvement, Pathology and Entomology disciplines.
